Jon Bon Jovi has been fighting to return to the stage for a long time, but his problem with his vocal cords has not been able to completely improve. For this reason, he has questioned his continuity in music, analyzing a possible retirement.
The singer had to undergo surgery in 2022 because one of his vocal cords was atrophying. A medical process called medialization, which aims to solve this problem.
After the operation, the singer has regularly attended therapy in order to speed up his return and, above all, fix his problem with his voice for the future.
Before the release of the documentary series “Thank You, Goodnight: The Story of Bon Jovi,” the rock band leader gave an interview to Fox News Digital in which he bluntly explained that recovering from vocal cord surgery “it’s the worst”.
Regarding the impossibility of his return to the stage, Jon Bon Jovi commented that “No one anticipates an injury like this. And it’s up to God to fix it or not, but I’m certainly at the Lord’s side, working.”
