ADOR has given an update on NewJeans’ Hyein’s health.

In early April, ADOR announced that Hyein would be taking a temporary break from activities due to a microfracture she suffered during a rehearsal.

On May 8, ADOR released the following official update on Hyein’s health.

Hello.
We are ADOR.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to fans for always supporting and loving NewJeans and update them on Hyein’s health status as well as her upcoming schedule.

Last month, Hyein felt pain on the top of her foot during practice. She went to the hospital, where she underwent a thorough examination and a microfracture was discovered in her foot.

Since then, he has focused on treatment and recovery. However, medical professionals have advised you to minimize any movements that may place unnecessary stress on the affected area.

Consequently, Hyein will not participate in official promotional activities for double single ‘How Sweet’, including music shows and performances, to focus on her recovery.
For other scheduled appearances beyond musical programs and performances, your participation will be flexibly adjusted based on your health and medical advice.

We would like to ask for your generous understanding. We will support Hyein and his recovery to ensure that he can return to his fans in good health.

Thank you.

NewJeans is currently preparing for their comeback with their double single “How Sweet” on May 24.

We wish Hyein a speedy and complete recovery!
