AOA’s Dohwa (formerly Chanmi) parted ways with her agency after her exclusive contracts expired.

On May 21, Dohwa took to his Instagram and shared a heartfelt letter to his fans as shown below:

Hello! This is Dohwa.
I’m leaving FNC, where I’ve been for 15 years, and taking on a new challenge!
I thank FNC for walking with me on the path of faith for a long time!
I joined at 15, became an adult, and as I approach 30, there are many things I am grateful for.
I will cherish and remember the love you gave me and continue my future activities happily and with a right mind.

I’m happy to have met ELVIS (the official name of AOA’s fan club).
Let us continue our journey together in the future as well.

Last year, she revealed that she changed her name to Dohwa while starring in the web variety show “GIRL’S RE:VERSE.” She debuted as a member of AOA in 2012 and promoted under the name Chanmi before changing her name. Dohwa expanded her reach as an actress by appearing in several projects, including the films “A Different Girl” and “Refresh,” as well as the KBS2 drama “Brain Works.”

We wish Dohwa all the best in his new beginning!
