Metallica’s visit to Madrid in 2024 will not stop at just two spectacular concerts, but will also include a multitude of parallel activities.
Metallica will return to Madrid in the next July 12 and 14 to offer two unique concerts at the stadium Metropolitan Cívitas. Each night they will present a totally different show, with a spectacular production, as has been demonstrated in their current M72 World Tour. And as in all cities on their current tour, the band will hold a weekend full of activities for fans that are not limited to just the stadium concerts.
With two-day passes sold out and tickets for Friday almost sold out, the next visit of Metallica Madrid promises to become one of the biggest musical events in the city. The concerts, which will feature Architects and Mammoth WVH as companions on Friday, and Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills as companions on Sunday, they will mark Metallica’s historical record when it comes to gathering fans in the state capital.
Parallel activities during the Metallica shows at the Teatro Eslava
In addition to the expected concerts, fans of Metallica You can enjoy two special activities on the day July 13 in it Eslava Theater.
At 12:00 noon, the renowned British photographer Ross Halfinknown for his work with AC DC, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith and Black Sabbathwill offer a conference about his experience as official photographer of Metallica. In addition, he will sign copies of his book “The Black Album In Black & White”.
Ross Halfin He is one of the most recognized and respected rock photographers in the world. Born in London, England, Halfin has captured some of rock and heavy metal music’s most iconic bands and artists on camera for over four decades.
Ross Halfin began his career in the 1970s, initially photographing punk rock bands in London. His passion and talent soon opened the doors for him to work with some of the biggest bands of the moment. His ability to capture the energy and essence of artists on and off stage quickly gained him recognition. Throughout his career, Halfin has worked with an impressive list of world-renowned artists and bands. Some of his most notable collaborations include AC DC, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, The Who and Black Sabbath. His professional relationship with these bands not only allowed him to capture iconic moments, but also gain trust and privileged access to their lives both onstage and behind it. In the case of Metallica, Halfin has been by his side since practically the beginning of the group.
As the band’s official photographer, Halfin has documented some of the most pivotal moments in Metallica’s career. An Italian tribute to Metallica with a guest DJ
Starting at 7:00 p.m., also in the Eslava Theatera party will be held that will include a digital retrospective of the visits of Metallica to Spain over the years and a concert of SADone of the most important tribute bands in Metallica.
