DÍAZ-CANEL SENT A MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY AND SUPPORT FOR SERIOUS FLOODS IN BRAZIL

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, sent a heartfelt message to his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, due to the magnitude of the climatological impact in the state of Río Grande del South. «Brother President Lula, we are closely following the serious weather situation in Río Grande do Sul. THEY REQUEST IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF FORMER VICE PRESIDENT JORGE GLASS

Some 80 former presidents, politicians, academics, social activists and artists from several countries signed a letter that is circulating in Caracas, in which they requested the release of former Ecuadorian vice president Jorge Glas, and respect for International Law. The general elections in Panama were held normally throughout the country.
