Havana, May 7 (RHC) Hundreds of students from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, opened a camp to demonstrate in support of the Gaza Strip that is experiencing the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist State of Israel.

European media also report similar protests on the campuses of Barcelona, the Basque Country, the Valencian Community, Malaga and Seville.

Among the main objectives demanded by the protesters is a ceasefire in Gaza territory, stopping relations with Israel and emphasizing the suspension of arms sales to the Zionist State.

The protesters also made clear their rejection of the position taken by the president of the United States, Joseph Biden, who has been “on the side of Zionism” and who has repressed the mobilizations of support for the inhabitants of the coastal enclave.

From the different university campuses of the world, educational institutions are demanding the elimination of the budget for Israeli organizations.

These gestures of support occur 214 days after the start of the siege by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, which, so far, has claimed the lives of almost 35,000 people, most of them women and children. (Source: TeleSur)
