EITB renews the reception of its satellite signals with TSA

The proposal from Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) to improve the reception and decoding of audiovisual signals in mobile units has been selected by EITB Media after the corresponding public service.

TSA has trusted solutions from Atemea company specialized in advanced video compression solutions, to renew the receiver-decoders satellite signal located at the headquarters of EITB in Bilbao and in the mobile units. With this initiative, Basque radio and television seeks to gradually replace those equipment only capable of decoding HD signals with others that open the doors to the possibilities of UHD universewhich will result in a better viewing experience for your viewers.

Specifically, the solution designed by Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales is supported by the platform Titan Edge. This multichannel baseband video distribution solution is capable of managing the encoding and/or transcoding from different entries in multiple outputs to a wide variety of resolutions, codecs and bit rates.
