Historically, the E3 fair held in Los Angeles was the meeting point where these companies and fans attended until it had to cancel its editions due to the covid-19 pandemic and ended up disappearing in 2023 after failing to regain support. from other companies. In this situation, new events emerged such as the Summer Game Fest in 2020, an alternative to E3 that now, in 2024, is already the main video game announcement event of this time.
Hosted by The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley, Summer Game Fest returns in 2024 with a new series of bundled conferences. The main one is the inaugural gala that will take place this June 7, an edition in which they will show news from different games and announce new titles, both independent and big budget, which can be followed live through the event’s official platforms. The main conference of this 2024 edition will be held at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, United States and the event will begin at 2 pm Pacific time.

What to expect from Summer Game Fest 2024?
