Cuba is under the weak anticyclonic influence that has its center far away in the Atlantic, which imposes a humid flow from the southern region in the lower levels of the troposphere. Furthermore, the presence of an upper trough over the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the transit of tropical waves to the south of Cuba, is generating unstable conditions over the national territory since yesterday, favoring the occurrence of showers, rains and storms. electricity in much of the country, which have been strong in some locations.
This situation, favorable for precipitation, will extend over the weekend and next week, so the rains will continue to be strong and intense in some locations in the western and central regions.
