According to the sources, the meeting was suspended due to agenda issues, since Milei will travel to Spain again on Fridaywith a previous stop through the city of Rosario on the 20th, within the framework of the event for Flag Day.

Earlier, it had already been anticipated that the Government was preparing a secretariat with ministerial rank for the former head of the Central Bank, which will be linked to economic deregulation. The idea is that it depends directly on the Presidency and not on the Ministry of Economy.

In addition to having been one of the authors of the mega DNU, Sturzenegger is already working on another project: the so-called “Leaf Law” that seeks to eliminate regulations that are currently in disuse.

In the Government they aim to decentralize the tasks that are currently under the orbit of the Chief of Staff. For this, the intention is that the new area will be in charge of the secretariats of State Transformation and Public Function, Innovation, Science and Technology, and State Simplification.
