La Roja receives much-needed support in the United States, before the match against Argentina in the 2024 Copa América.

The Red had several problems, but is already in New Jersey, United States, for the second game of the Copa America 2024. Ricardo Gareca’s team had to overcome a delay in landing and even a fire alarm at the hotel in its first hours in the Garden state.
After all that, the national teams were able to enjoy some free moments, which they took advantage of to meet with family and loved ones who have accompanied them to North America. A needed support before the important match against Argentina.
Eduardo Vargas took the opportunity to meet with his faithful companion, his wife Juliana Peixoto, while Mauricio Isla took advantage of the time in the United States to receive a visit from one of his daughters. Ben Brereton, on the other hand, is accompanied by his wife, Kimberly Abbott, and his son, Mason.
In advance of the second date, La Roja will go to MetLife Stadium, where Ricardo Gareca and one of his team will face the press in a conference. Then, training will continue this Monday afternoon at the Rutgers University Official Training Center.
La Roja suffers for Diego Valdés in the Copa América 2024
The Red’s great regret has to do with Diego Valdés, who is ruled out against Argentina and possibly against Canada due to a micro tear suffered in the debut of the Copa América. Furthermore, he has edema and is in a lot of pain. He will not be disaffected any time soon.
America’s 10 was present at this Sunday’s training at the Rutgers University center, however, only as a spectator. He had to see from a distance how his teammates began work thinking about facing Argentina this Tuesday, June 25.
