This Friday a commission of the The National Government will arrive at the Miravalle ETCR, in the department of Caquetá to address the complex security situation that this community that signed the peace agreement is experiencing, after receiving a pamphlet signed by the front Jorge Briceño block of the General Staff in which he declared that territory as “conflict zone”.

The movement of the procession, made up of delegates from the Ministry of the Interior, the Reintegration Agency, the Unit for the Implementation of the Peace Agreement and others, It occurs just when political leaders such as the former president, Juan Manuel Santos, Senator Humberto de la Calle, Rodrigo Londoño, leader of the Comunes Party and others, described what was happening in that reincorporation space as serious.

“As a group, we are moving towards the Miravalle ETCR with all the entities that have direct responsibilities to address the security situation that has arisen,” said Franklin Castañeda, director of Human Rights at the Ministry of the Interior.

The delegates trust that a security plan will be achieved that guarantees the permanence in place of the demobilized and their families. “We have expressed the Government’s unwavering commitment to guarantee permanence in its territory, the continuity of productive projects and the continuity of the successful reincorporation process,” added the official.

Meanwhile, this Friday the Special Peace Jurisdiction (JEP) ruled on the matter. He not only rejected the situation of the signatories of the peace agreement, but also called for timely intervention by the Government and the competent authorities.

“The Jurisdiction requests the Attorney General’s Office and the competent judicial authorities to investigate these events and provide the conditions and guarantees of security, protection and prevention necessary to make safe return possiblesustainable and voluntary of the community of signatories who have been forced to move,” reads the high court statement.

Precisely, last March, magistrates from that special jurisdiction visited the area to hand over fifty signatories of the Peace Agreement, Certificates of presidential amnesties granted after 2016 and that at that time they had not been notified.
