Among the 10 best-selling new cars during June, a pick-up came in first: the Toyota Hilux.
Beyond the market contraction, Sebastián Beato, president of Acara, was optimistic. “The drop in inflation and the upward trend of the dollar have generated a closer relationship between customers and dealers in the second half of the month,” he said. “From the value chain we are working with discounts, bonuses and credits at subsidized rates to maintain the level of activity,” he added.
The ACARA representative also expressed his hope that incentive measures will be added by governments. to “complete an acceptable year and project a 2025 with sustained growth.”
