The five opponents to the regime of Nicolás Maduro, who were asslated in the Argentine embassy in Caracas, have abandoned the country. Among the asylees were Pedro Urruchurtu, Humberto Villalobos, Claudia Macero, Omar González and Magalí Meda, all associated with the opposition leader María Corina Machado.
