Alvite is charged with running over and killing a motorcyclist while running a chopped. He accuses her of the crime of “Simple homicide with eventual intent”which provides for a Penalty between 8 and 25 years in prison.
The ruling that enabled his house arrest has an extensive judicial history and with several comings and turns. In January, the Buenos Aires Cassation Chamber had already arranged that the young woman had to wait for the trial at home. However, the measure was not effective at that time. Therefore, Alvite has been waiting for a home that is not known when it will arrive and, in the middle, this transfer is given, ”explained his lawyer to Infobae A few days ago.
Finally, that judicial resolution arrived and Alvite will be able to continue the process outside the jail.
During this last time, the young woman was housed in Unit 51 of Magdalena, a penalty that received observations from the Provincial Commission for Memory for different reasons: from the existence of a mechanical support cell to the lack of health professionals, medical supplies and adequate accommodation conditions.
