“The first time I unlock this dream of being a writer was love columns and thus began to create my dream of working for magazines and cause that emotion. Therefore, when someone tells me that he bought the book to read it with the friends, I feel that we are doing a magazine you in 2025, “says Ana.

Tired of an office work, in the marketing area, and in Medellín, Ana remembered the dreams that was promised to fulfill as a child and from there began to share what he best knew how to do: lists.

Step by step, began to create a community that felt identified with short phrases and that encouraged her to continue sharing her ‘popular wisdom’, that which is based on what we all live, but that we get little to analyze and that is present in the 266 pages of ‘without shame’.

“I really never imagined writing a book. Mine were magazines. I grew up watching movies that we all love, ‘The devil dresses in fashion’, ‘crazy for purchases’, ‘If he had 30’, where the protagonists worked in places like that. In fact, I begin the book saying that it generates a horrible fault that they proposed to write in this way, because there are many people who have waited for this all my life, “confesses the expert of the lists.

“It was something that I didn’t know I was going to take me to a new version of me, in which I discovered that I am much dense, deep, with absolute vulnerability“He adds.

Although sometimes you imagine what people will ask when you find it in the street, after reading the book, and gives it sorrow, Ana lists confesses that this unleashed woman who portrays in her work is what also shares such intimate details, as the addiction she had to consume slimming pills.

“I realized that there is a disorder, which is not eating, but is called obsession. In fact, as a society, many suffer it. We are obsessed with worshiping the body, the image, to beauty, talk about exercise, talk about food, talk about the diet that worked. And well, I fell into an addiction to the pills a while ago,” the author recalls and adds: “I am not the only one that has saved these mistakes, which has lived under those labels, with those internal daily struggles, of insecurities, of complexes, of things that it costs us to manage. “

And precisely that, ignoring ‘what they will say’, is what makes it lovely. Ana lists is a cliché that works perfectly.
