Amanditita In “one day I will tell this story” the years so complicated that he went through, practically, his birth, with a crisis of asthma to both and the death of his father “Rockdrigo” to the six, which produced an emotional crisis that, now, is healed.
Little to launch your Autobiographical booksales of the work continue to have very good results.
It is an ambitious project that, for a long time, the singer tried to materialize but, because of the pain that led to a recount of her complicated past, she postponed her concrete.
Now that it is finished, you know the part of the history of the young woman, by Amanda Lalena Escalante Pimentel, better known as Amandititita, and how she lived the death of her father, the famous Rockdrigo, driver of the Rock Movement, who lost her life on Septimebre 19 1985, for the earthquake that shook Mexico City.
The young woman remembers that she was only six years old; Since he was born, his father lived in CDMX, where he made his way as a musician, such as the “Mexican Bob Dylan”, while his mother, Mireya scaleande, lived in the longing for an unrequited love in Tampico, a city where his two parents were originally.
With the death of Rockdrigo, who would become a legend of Mexican rock, postúmously, little Lalena and her mother traveled to the capital to meet her destiny; an eternal mourning.
This is what the singer narrates, in her own words:
“I arrived in Mexico City in 1985, … Three months before, an earthquake of magnitude 8.1 had shaken Mexico City, taking about fifteen thousand lives, including my father’s. I was just six years old. (…) My mother and I went to the Juárez neighborhood in search of the building where he had died. It was shocking to discover that the debris still lay there, as if the earthquake had occurred there. Look up and down among the rubble, looking for some kind of order among those unconnected parts.
In her, she also remembers how, even musicians who met her father, criticized her when she jumped to fame, composing cumbias, because she seemed inconceivable that her father’s legacy was to be warm.
And although that hurt her deeply, with headlines of the press as if “Rockdrigo saw what her daughter did she would die again,” Amandititita showed her ingenuity and authenticity, generating very good economic gains that, from one day to another, took her out of the precarious situations in which she had lived, since she moved with her mother to the CDMX; Living in hotels, or sleeping in the armchairs of an acquaintance, when they allowed them.
His father was lost when he was 33 years old, his mother of more than sixty years, victim of cancer and an alcoholism that he could never overcome, however, the singer keeps longing memories of those who gave life, especially, after years of searching and working in the emotional conciliation that, today, allows her to talk about her story and work in her next album.
