At 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, the State Unit for Civil Protection and Firefighters of Jalisco (UEPCBJ) controlled the fires that began on Wednesday in two factories located in the Álamo Industrial neighborhood, between Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque.
After more than 27 hours of intense work, the teams managed to turn off the flames. Now, the following phase begins: the cooling of the area and the entry of equipment specialized in search and rescue, who will use trained dogs to locate possible victims.
The authorities confirmed that two burned bodies were found within one of the factories. Although there was a report of three missing workers, it is presumed that the victims found could correspond to two of them. There is still one more person to locate.
For now, the deceased could not be identified, so DNA tests will be carried out to compare with their families.
