The case of the murder of Sara Millerey González, a woman from the trans community whose death shocked Colombia, has revealed new and chilling details, because in total there were five people who would have assaulted the young woman before throwing her into a ravine.

All of them will be charged with aggravated homicide and torture. However, the victims’ lawyer, Saúl León, requested that the charges be modified to aggravated femicide, arguing that the crime should be recognized as an act of gender violence.
