Jerusalem, May 3 (EFE) .- The Islamist group Hamás made public a video in which the hostage Maxim Herkin, kidnapped at the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2023, appears prostrated on the ground with a bloody bandage that covers half a face and left arm.
“I am one of the prisoners who was bombarded after the Fire’s high agreement ended. Just by the grace of God we escape to death,” says Herkin, who seems to be found in one of the Gaza tunnels.
His family has asked the media not to spread the images.
Herkin, 35 and resident of Tirat Carmel, in northern Israel, was born in the Ukrainian region of Donetsk and his mother has Russian citizenship. At the beginning of April, Hamas has already published on his Telegram channel a video in which he appeared.
-“These are the results of military pressure and librada war to free the prisoners,” says a injured Herkin, who says he has no medication or being able to go to a hospital to receive treatment.
Since last March 2, Israel forbids the entry of medicines, water, food and humanitarian aid in Gaza, with the aim of forcing Hamas to sign an agreement that does not imply the final end of the military offensive.
Herkin, in the speech with a script -scripted high probability, asks the Israelis to protest and take to the streets for demanding a release agreement for the 59 hostages that continue in Gaza, among them it is estimated that 24 are still alive. EFE
