Within the framework of the dialogue between producers, industries and the government, a biministerial resolution will regulate the prices of primary milk and fluid from this month, for the benefit of the dairy productive complex and to avoid inflation processes, said the Deputy Minister of Industrialization Policies, Luis Siles.
“While the assembly members do not react and do not think of the country, we have already taken a measure that is to take a biministerial resolution to regulate both the price of primary milk and the price of fluid milk that is the most influenced at the inflation level,” Siles explained this Sunday, in contact with Bolivia TV.
The authority indicated that in the line of dialogue with producers and industries a resolution was taken between the Ministries of Productive Development and Plural Economy and Rural Development and Lands in which milk prices are increased.
Enhancement
It increases by 95 cents at the price of primary production milk and a maximum of 80 cents is increased to the cost of fluid milk; that is, the finished product, according to the authority data.
“Positive agreements have been reached with a biministerial resolution that is in force since May 1 for the benefit of the dairy productive complex, but also for the benefit of citizens to avoid inflation processes,” he said.
He remarked that good agreements were achieved for both the primary producers of all the basins of La Paz, Cochabamba, Tarija and for the industries nationwide from the largest to the smallest.
In that context, he reproached the rejection in the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP) to the continuity of the prolach fund that in its validity allowed to increase the per capita consumption of this important food.
