A Palestinian activist states that the fires in occupied territories symbolize the resistance of expelled Palestinians who, despite exile, never forgot their homeland.
In an observation as insightful as provocative, that many could interpret as satire, Israeli activist Alon Mizrahi wrote that the fires that sweep the occupied territories “can be seen (if you have soul and imagination) as an act of resistance and rejection”, by “Palestinian communities that disappeared decades ago, but never abandoned or forgot their homeland.”
He explained that, according to their personal experience, the orchards and “forests” now devoured by the fire “do not feel real.”
Mizrahi shared that he grew up next to one of those “forests” and that, even without knowing anything about the history of Zionism, they were always strange, but never magical as a true forest.
“Like those who planted them, they emanate a feeling of superficiality and fragility,” he wrote.
He pointed to the “soulless Zionistas” who planted European pines throughout Palestine occupied, with the purpose of redesigning the landscape to resemble their Swiss or Romanian homelands, and not to the land they falsely claimed in Palestine.
“These artificial forests and others hid, in reality, an even more sinister intention – or rather, what was under them: the Zionists plant those trees methodically on destroyed Palestinian communities, which razed to the foundations, as they are now doing in Gaza,” he added.
Mizrahi presented facts that the apologists of Zionism usually bleach or that are simply omitted by the dominant Western media. He wrote that many of the ‘natural parks’ are really camouflages: they are built on the cemeteries of Palestinian villages erased from the map.
“And so, when innocent Israeli children celebrate Independence with their families in one of those parks – as many do – they are literally dancing on the tombs of people that Israel Massacró, ethnically expelled and stripped,” he said.
Mizrahi undressed truths that show the atrocities committed by Zionism without the slightest shame.
Palestinian homes, gardens, schools, mosques, churches, even the toys of their children and the Sacred Olives, were destroyed. Tens of thousands of olive trees were torn from root, in an act motivated by the deep fear of symbolism and the authentic and persistent force of the Palestinian olive tree, he wrote.
On the backdrop of the flames – which offers the colony of settlers a fiery proven of the tactics of the land razed from the criminal regime since its rape of high to fire -, the gloomy transformation of Gaza into a desert of death remains a heartbreaking reality.
In a devastating criticism of Israeli genocide in Gaza, Rasha Abou Jalal and Sharif Abdel Kouddous reminded us that the Israeli army continues to launch multiple air attacks and daily bombings on the besieged territory, “razing households, camps of displaced, coffee shops, hospitals, beneficial kitchens, the so -called ‘calls civilians ”.
Referring to the relentless bombings and the spill of endless blood, they reported that three generations of the Al-Kahour family were annihilated when Israel bombarded their home in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, in the center of Gaza, at dawn on April 26.
The old patriarch of the family, Talal al-Kahour, along with his wives, daughters, sons and grandchildren, all died in the attack. Twenty -two lives – dole from them, children – were erased from the map, their bodies shattered and buried under the rubble.
“The aerial bombardment occurred at dawn, while we slept. Suddenly, an explosion that felt like an earthquake. Drop Site News Mohammad Al-Ajla, a 37-year-old neighbor who helped recover the bodies.
“The dust of the attack was barely cleared, the neighbors began to try to rescue family members. The recovery operation lasted for eight hours in a row. We saw bodies everywhere. There were headless children.”
The contrast could not be more brutal: many of those who have diverted their eyes to the smoking bodies of babies in gaza – nasinades by the deliberate bombings of Israel on tents and ruined buildings – and that are direct accomplices of these atrocious crimes, now spill tears through the settlers fleeing forest fires.
