Mexico, May 6 (Notistarz/Amexi) .- The death of actress Milna Brandão at age 11 caused shock in the Brazilian entertainment industry.
The young actress and children’s model who was part of the cast of the series “Tuning” of Netflix, died last Friday, May 2, after a series of health complications.
His case shocked in the industry and throughout the country, due to its young age and especially because of the strange circumstances that surround their medical attention.
Currently, the authorities investigate their death for possible negligence, since the child suffered 13 heart strikes before it was declared with brain death.
The actress’s mother, Thays Brandão, broke the silence about the death of her daughter and said that the first discomfort presented by her daughter were April 24, when Millena complained about intense physical pain and general discomfort.
“He had a headache, but he could walk and talk. The doctor said it was Dengue, but he did not do any proof. He told us to take her back home and administer Dipirona,” G1 told the Brazilian environment.
With the passing of the days, the situation got worse and her mother revealed that Millena “could no longer walk” so on April 26 they took her back to the hospital.
“They sent her back to rest,” he explained. On April 28, the child passed out in the bathroom of her house, but “he put his hand on his head and shouted in pain.”
Millena entered the emergency hospital and the next day she suffered her first cardiac arrest, they reanimmed and intubated her, but did not wake up again.
Subsequently, a tomography revealed a mass of five centimeters in his brain, however, “there was no neurologist present to confirm if it was a tumor, a cyst, an edema or a clot.”
During his hospital stay, Millena suffered up to 13 heart strikes and “worsened, with two or three stoppages a day. There was a day when he had seven, ”he recalled.
“Sometimes they gave him massages and other times they applied discharges with a defibrillator.”
Before the confirmation of brain death, the family made the difficult decision to turn off the machines.
