Morelia, Mich., May 7, 2025.- In the news of the journalist Ignacio Martínez, a neighbor of the municipality of Madero denounced the forced displacement of people for violence, confrontations, kidnapping and homicides.
“There are people who are leaving their homes, their properties, their cattle and everything they have, following everything that is happening in the municipality of Madero. There are confrontations, shootings, homicides, decapitated people and kidnappings,” he told the journalist for the New News News.
The victim reported to Ignacio Martínez’s audience, “it all started last Friday, May 2, with clashes and followed the kidnapping of some people, which later appeared dead.”
According to the complainant, the interest focuses on the population of El Capulín and in surrounding communities, both for the installation of narco -labor and for the use of the forest, and even the existence of sawmills in the high areas of the Sierra is indicated.
-He acknowledged that initially the neighbors chose not to report, but due to the events of the last weekend, those affected chose to go to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
In addition, he explained that the case was made known to the 12 infantry battalion of the Ministry of National Defense, but they left with a bitter taste of mouth, since one of the attendees assured them that they had full knowledge of the conditions in which the population lives the Capulin.
“At the meeting with the 12 battalion, there was a person dressed as a civilian who, at the end of the meeting, told us that for the next we took new information, that he already knew it,” said the victim.
This case was also denounced in the tribune of the Party of the Institutional Revolution (PRI), after the murder of six people in the mountain area of Madero.
