As of December 1 of the current year, gas will begin to transport from Venezuela to Colombia. This was reported by the company PDVSA SA Branch Colombia, who has owned the Antonio Ricaurte gas pipeline.
In a confidential document, and complying with a judicial order of guardianship, says PDVSA: “According to the international gas transport contract, PDVSA Gas SA Branch Colombia Supra mentioned, and to the aforementioned period of stabilization of equipment of the contract, so far the transport of gas is planned from December 1, 2025”.
It also indicates the document that, although currently the Antonio Ricaurte gas pipeline is inoperative due to the effects made by third parties, they affirmed that works are merited for rehabilitation and implementation, in order to start the transport of gas in Colombian territory.
In turn, they indicate that PDVSA has made reviews, inspections and technical visits to determine the scope of the effects and the possible actions for their rehabilitation.
