From Neuquén they recognized Entrerrianos firefighters for their fire fighting in Lanín Park

The Chajarí Volunteer Association was officially recognized by the of Neuquén for its valuable contribution the recent fire of great magnitude that affected the Lanín National Park, in the Magdalena Valley area.

The thanks was especially addressed to the noncommissioned officer Lucas Lescano and the firefighter Juan Jorge Marchesi, who weeks ago traveled to the affected region to join the fire combat tasks. Both integrated the support team that contributed to contain what was the largest forest fire recorded in the Neuquina history.

The recognition came through diplomas accompanied by an emotional letter signed by the of Emergency and Risk Management of the province of Neuquén, Luciana Ortiz. In the brief, the appreciates the selfless of firefighters and highlights their commitment, courage and professionalism.

“His commitment and dedication allowed together, we can face the largest fire that this province has suffered throughout its history and that we should not regret victims,” ​​says Ortiz in the letter. And he adds: “The will and decision that they faced each of this unequal struggle are worthy of admiration and plausible of the highest recognition.”

In addition, the secretary stressed that the participation of the firefighters of Chajarí “embodied the spirit of camaraderie and the shared learning that we seek to foster” and valued that “they accepted the challenge without hesitation, formed a support team that does not cease to be amazed and shared our regret things did not go out as we had planned.”
