One of the two men accused of a murder at the Residential El Carmen, in Mayagüez, was also charged with another crime in this same community, police negotiate reported on Saturday.
This is Abdiel Sánchez Negrón, 21 years old and a neighbor of the Colombus Landing residential of Mayagüez, the police report details.
As reported, last Tuesday the young man was accused, together with Jesús D. Rodríguez Soto, also of 21, for the murder of Jean Carlos Matos Rodríguez, known as Goldo Ponce and who had a criminal record. This crime occurred on March 24 at the El Carmen Residential.
The defendants were imposed a global bond of $ 2.8 million, which they did not provide.
After the accusation, the Police directed another accusation against Sánchez Negrón for another murder also reported in the El Carmen Residential, but on July 24, 2023. The victim was identified as Javier Millán Cruz.
It was reported that a judge imposed on Sánchez Negrón another millionaire bond, specifically $ 1.6 million. He did not lend the sum, so he will remain admitted in prison.
