Daniel, the younger brother of Felipe Camiroaga, breaks the silence to speak from love, share unpublished photos and support the event in favor of the Camiroaga Foundation
“He did not miss anything in life,” says Daniel Bontempi Fernández, the younger brother of Felipe Camiroaga, 46, a man who always maintained a low profile and now goes out to remember full of the animator who died in Juan Fernández. Daniel supports the work carried out by the Felipe Camiroa Foundation in favor of the children and promotes the event that will take place at the Caupolicán Theater on the 15th of this month -comply with tickets AQUI-.
Jorge Camiroaga, the driver’s father, had three children in his first marriage to María de la Luz Fernández: Francisco, Felipe and Soledad. Then María de la Luz formed a new family on the island of Tenerife, Spain, along with the renowned Sicotherapist Francisco Bontempi and had Daniel, Paola and Andrea, the youngest.
Daniel is a commercial pilot, studied two years of mechanical engineering and ended with a technical degree of automotive mechanics in the United States. At the beginning of the 2000s he came from his native Spain to Chile, promoted by Felipe, with whom he lived four years on the plot that the “king of the owners of the house” had in Colina.
It is precisely where the family takes care of and preserves the horses, dogs and animals that Felipe adored, and that the foundation performs a help, with equine therapy sessions for children with a condition of the autistic spectrum (CEA) in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability.
Bontempi Fernández was never a friend of interviews or television programs. Now he spoke on Radio Biobío, and showed unpublished photos with his driver brother, because the family needs to generate resources to continue with the work of the Foundation. That is why on May 15 a good part of his friends in the entertainment world will hold an event at Caupolicán to remember it, reveal anecdotes, stories and honor him. They will be Karen Doggenweiler, Tonka Tomicic, Américo, Luis Jara, Stefan Kramer, Martín Cárcamo, Julián Elfenbein and Pedro Carcuro, among others, and the tickets can acquire them here.
“That people of his departure remember him, recognize him and want him as they want, it is a pride for us … that people have chosen it, people who today did not even share with him because they were very small, because they did not see it,” Daniel says about the title of “Best Animator in the History of Chile”, which the public granted him in the Cadem survey. “So that the people of Chile, that the full country recognizes it and wants it so much, is an unmatched pride,” he adds.
“His main joy was his life project. His family already loved his friends, he had a lot of love for his friends, for the children of his friends. And the pains we all have. Some are familiar, work, there are disappointments in life with people and also just as there is love, there is disappointment,” says the younger brother in Biobío.
“In his internal jurisdiction, he had solved it in some way. I did not talk to him, but I think he had solved it and had decisions made that completed him. I believe that he did not miss anything in life,” he concluded after being consulted about whether “Chicureo Falcon” wanted to be a father.
