With a strong call to build a more fair, ecological and decentralized Chile, the presidential campaign command of Jaime Muletthe current deputy and leader of the environmental and regionalist movement. In an act carried out in Santiago, and transmitted simultaneously in several regions of the country, what their adherents began as “the territories campaign”.
During the day, Mulet raised the central axes of his candidacy: “Our country needs a fair transition, which not only puts a brake on the climatic crisis, but also guarantees that decisions are made from and for the territories. Enough of centralism. Enough of empty promises. It is time for Chile to listen to its regions and act accordingly.”
Regional leaders and leaders who supported this presidential option participated in the event. Among them, Silvia Rodríguezrepresentative of the Atacama command, said: “He is a president who knows that he is going to play in the regions and will end with centralism. And they are not empty words.”
For its part, Margorie YáñezPresident of the Robert Yáñez Foundation, highlighted the unpublished nature of the candidacy: “Today there is a regionalist and green person, unique and for the first time as a presidential candidate. So I invite everyone to support him.”
Jaime Mulet’s proposal seeks to integrate sustainable development with territorial justice, promoting a new ecological constitution, fiscal decentralization, and the strengthening of local governments such as pillars of the new Chile.
