The days passed and Acevedo, recognized for being the son of the president of the Community Action Board of San Isidoro, did not present notable improvement signs. His condition continued to be serious.
Since Monday, April 21, he was under medical observation at the Hospital of the capital of Antioquia, where he even received the visit of Governor Andrés Julián Rendón, who announced that those involved were identified as Alias ’Carrillo’ and aka ‘Matías’. With pain, anger and anxiety, the professional soldier was buried in the municipality’s cemetery by his parents, Luis Enrique Cossio and Doraralba Varela, who spend the days plunged into sadness. His brother, in a broken voice, said that Andrés Felipe was the youngest of the family and that his parents were a humble housewife and a day laborer who took his family forward at work and sacrifice. “Andrés Felipe dreamed of studying, working, saving and being someone in this life to help our parents,” he concluded.
