Puebla de Lillo already has the first MTB center of the Leonese eastern mountain.
With 6 routes and more than 120 linear kilometers of travel, the municipality of Alto Porma thus becomes the perfect destination for lovers of mountain cycling and active tourism.
In its objective to dissecting tourism and fighting depopulation, Puebla de Lillo has released the first MTB center of the Leonese eastern mountain, an infrastructure aimed especially at cycling lovers that has more than 120 kilometers of beacon and marked routes.
After an investment of 143,530 euros financed by the City Council itself and the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, this new MTB center has six new routes, all of them circular, for the spectacular environment of the Alto Porma, within the Mountain Regional Park of Riaño and Mampodre.
Two of them are of medium difficulty, two others are considered difficult and the remaining two are destined for experts, although what is certain is that anyone who dares with them will not be able to forget the experience.
In addition, all the routes are certified in the National Registry of Mountain Bike Routes, since the project has been supported by the International Mountain Cycling Association (IMBA), which has been inspected the signage, routes and the services associated with the MTB center.
In this way, the passionate of nature tourism can travel the different paths, perfectly beaconed and in good condition, worrying only about pedaling and enjoying the environment and sport.
