It was Saturday, I was watching a basketball game of children who do not yet reach the age of majority, and this idea arose, I thought about the fortress to have to be there on the track and concentrate on the game. Something impossible with the amount of stimuli, animators, parents, referees … companions.
You have to have endurance and some courage, I do not know if I would be able, because obviously, everyone wants their team to win, they go to that. And there is also the character of each one, the one who thinks of the team, which trains a lot for responsibility, the ‘majete’ that makes everything easier, the ‘pacifier’ that does not happen even one, the sore that requires constant attention …
It is a reflection of society, although I have to say, that in the game that I saw, all the boys were great, those of the two teams. And this happens, there are times that the stars are aligned and generations of great people come out. And there I thought about those boys and their future and I saw him with optimism, they can now and can because they are nice, because they strive and respect the opposite, so they have it easy, it is justice. Some call this thought ‘goodism’, but deep down it is nothing more than the essence of life.
And I also thought that, although with another clothing, even with other rules, previous generations also did the same, playing basketball or volleyball or rugby or any other sport, and looked friendships, were happy with the victories and had to digest the defeats. It is like life itself, if there is no more trick than that, knowing how to throw the ball, see the game, know how to move to the partner and get that point that gives you that pizquita of happiness.
And that friends, is what happened on the ‘blackout’ day, that who had a normalized life, without depending on operating rooms or oxygen or medications that needed cold, lived those hours normally. I saw it. Instead of TV, Radio A Pilas, instead of screens, play with the neighbors, instead of TV, go out with chairs to the street (in my town it is called ‘go to the cool’) …
The traffic worked without traffic lights, the children left school and arrived at their homes without problems, in the companies what could be done, in short, that there was good will on the part of almost all.
And that is the essence of life that some do not want to see. It is that not long ago I decided to ignore bad people and focus only on good, that there is so much that I do not have time to enjoy each one.
And in the end, it is what almost everything is reduced, to achieve that balance between knowing that you are worth it and know that you are also doing things well.
That, knowing that they were doing things right, surely what the workers who two centuries manifested in the United States to get the working day of forty hours per week ago. A young man who always chooses to make his life comfortably, is a young man who fattens! But it does not fat your belly, fattens your mind. Therefore, I say to young people: get rid of, go out, don’t be afraid! Fear is an attitude that paralyzes!
This year many young people will travel to Rome, others have already done so, to celebrate the jubilee dedicated to them, because despite fame, despite some, the truth is that young people, adolescents are what I saw in that basketball game, people who strive, who work to get things, who help the partner …
The older ones, which sometimes we are giving lessons, we should remember what we were one day and should leave that essential space to dreams because those who precede us can be people of good … if we leave them. Some will get it, because heirs of the desire of others, there will always be.
