Cadillac presented the beginning of his trip in Formula 1 by 2026 with an event that he described as “Cultural Center of the weekend of the Miami Grand Prix.”
Queen became a nerve center of motor racing and culture, where regular to Paddock rubbed shoulders with the flower and cream of Miami’s nightlife. One thing is safe: the whole evening had a marked American character. It is something that has missed the F1 despite the recent love story of the United States with the championship.
The evening guest list clearly reflected the team’s efforts to capture a new audience: there were dozens of British journalists, stunned before the show, in addition to reality TV personalities such as Joey Graziadei, Kelsey Anderson, Jenn Tran and Ciara Miller. Mick Schumacher also made a surprise stop in Queen, while Sophia Bush, former student of One Tree Hill, enjoyed a privileged view from her table in the center of the club. Even a personnel member of a rival team was there, collecting information.
A remarkable absence was that of Sergio Pérez, among rumors that the former F1 pilot would be announced as part of the new Cadillac alignment. The fans chanted their name abroad and begged the team to hire him, but it was soon clear that this particular event had less to do with something substantial and more with … vibrations.

Terry Cruz took the stage to present Dan Towriss, while telling a story about the role that General Motors and Cadillac played in his life. The actor born in Michigan joked saying that he would not exist if it weren’t because GM gathered his family.
After the brief words of the Executive, the guests murmured about what awaited them in the evening: perhaps the presentation of a body? Well no. The team projected a vague video on Cadillac’s visual identity for the future, and as it is, it partially resembles a Pinterest home page.
On the screen there were aodine images of women dressed in Cadillac clothes, interspersed with equally vague images of an F1 car. There were several flashes of orange (care with McLaren) and generic black and white images of women dressed in fashion.
The night ended with the performance of Janelle Monae as DJ, after having acted before. Was there any kind of relationship between the singer -songwriter and Cadillac? No. But there is nothing more American to have celebrities that help dazzle the automobile community while preparing for a new era in 2026.
