A man was arrested after crossing with his car the door of a house that, according to online records, belongs to actress Jennifer Aniston.
According to agent Jeff Lee, spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred ESEE Monday around 12:20 pm Pacific time in the 900 Airole Way block, which is located in Bel Air, a tributary neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Lee said the police responded to a call about a “suspect of theft” on the property that “led her vehicle through the door of the residence.”
Lee told CNN that there was a security guard in the place that retained the suspect, described as a white man of about 70 years, until the agents of the Los Angeles Police Department arrived. The man was arrested without incident.
The police have not yet determined whether the incident was accidental or intentional, Lee said.
CNN communicated with Aniston’s representative to request comments.
Agent David Cuellar later told CNN that the owner of the house “was at home at the time of the incident.”
Aniston, better known for his role in the television series “Friends”, has previously spoken about his passion for architecture and design in relation to the renovations he made at his house of Bel Air, and told Architeural Digest in 2018 that if “he was not an actress, he would like to be a designer”.
“I love the process,” said Aniston. “There is something in choosing fabrics and finishes that fills my soul.”
