A technical solution for the packaging of dermatological products

The French Dermocosmetic brand Laboratoire SVR has opted for airless containers manufactured entirely in plastic for its most recent solar, ocular and facial care products. The system, called micro and developed by APTAR Beauty, has been selected for its suitability for especially sensitive dermatological formulas.
SVR has incorporated this type of container into three new treatments: The Illuminator Cream for Eye Contour [C-EYE] Biotic, the repair cream Sensifine extrême for sensitive skin and the solar fluid Sun Secure Flow-Age Spf50+. The products are available in 15 ml, 30 ml and 40 ml formats, respectively. All containers have been designed, manufactured and decorated at the Airless technology plant that Aptar Beauty has in Villingen, Germany.
The decision to centralize production and decoration in a single center has allowed SVR to reduce both logistics costs and the environmental impact associated with transport. According to the company, the use of the micro system not only offers protection to new formulas, but allows to maintain an adequate and consistent use experience with the sustainable commitments of the brand.
Micro is an airless technology that is presented as a robust and high performance solution. Its design totally in plastic, including the pump, guarantees high compatibility with delicate formulas and prevents content contamination. This system allows a precise dosage at any angle and achieves a high product emptying rate.
In addition to its technical characteristics, the micro system is available in multiple shapes, sizes and materials, which facilitates its adaptation to different line designs without giving up a unified visual identity. The solution has been certified as recyclable in 97-98 % by the Cyclos-HTP Independent Institute. It is also available in versions made of recycled materials, such as recycled polyethylene (PE), recycled PET, mixed recycled materials with ISCC certification or post -consumption recycled resin (PCR).
The option chosen by SVR allows compliance with international sustainability standards in cosmetics such as Ecocert and Cosmos, applicable to organic and natural products.
