Last Thursday, May 8, a terrible accident was presented that ended the life of a motorcyclist in Santander. The victim was identified as Diego Fernán Gutiérrez Valderrama28 years.
The young man moved quietly in the vehicle, when he found death suddenly: He was beheaded by a voltage cable. Everything happened around 7:24 am on 45th Street with Carrera 12, near the Bucaramanga Model prison.
The fact was so shocking that it was even difficult to believe for many people. However, the version of what happened was more than clear after a video was known that reveals how everything happened.
The audiovisual was recorded by a security chamber in the sector and perfectly shows the sequence of the foul accident, which is being investigated by the authorities.
In the images, which were published by the medium Vanguardtraffic is observed walking normally, until at one time a tractocamión appeared on the scene that was on the opposite road to which Diego moved.
Due to its size, The vehicle ended up bursting some high voltage cables that crossed from end to end. Just then the victim passed the other side on his motorcycle and, unfortunately, everything ended in a tragedy.
One of the cables rolled in Diego’s head and decapitated himso his body collapsed, an image that has generated great impact on social networks.
-At the time, Frank Buitrago, a transit agent of the capital of Santander, confirmed that in the place where everything happened they found a broken cable.
“We find cables and evidence related to decapitation. They say it was caused by a cable, by a truck. We have to limit, search for information and collect more evidence to contribute to legal medicine, ”said the agent quoted by the medium Vanguard.
Now, with this new video it would be proven that everything appeared as some witnesses who observed the accident said.
As noted by the mentioned medium, the case was assumed by the jurisdiction law firm, which will be responsible for verifying if there is any responsibility by the driver of the truck and the company.
Specifically, they will evaluate whether this cargo vehicle complied with the dimensions and the provisions of the law. In addition, it will be analyzed if the cables were up to this point in the city of Bucaramanga.
About the victim was known that he lived in the municipality of Girónin the department of Santander. In fact, at the time of his death, the young man headed towards this point.
