We have a reality and now there are even people who perform dental treatments even in houses or in squares, which aggravates the situation of oral health, ”said Laurence.
All these factors harm the reputation of the dental guild in the city, due to the little health of the “new offices.”
Influx only in the fortnight
Barbado said that when he receives more messages for consultations it is in the fortnights, either from 15 or 30 of each month. The price of the consultation ranges between 20 or 30 dollars, but there are people who intend that in that consultation a caries treatment or dental cleaning is already done, which is not so.
«The power of the Bolivar is very low, so people see excessively expensive the price of consultations. Although people do not understand that it is more expensive not to take care of the teeth in the future. Nor is there a preventive plan for the population to lower the consumption of sugar and carbohydrates to avoid decay, ”added the dentist.
On the other hand, there is unfair competition with colleagues that offer promotions of many procedures at the same time for a lower cost than normal.
This situation benefits even less the patient’s health, because he is not educated to have good oral health, but only a perfect smile with a single day of treatment is offered.
