The director of the Metro collective Transportation System, Guillermo Calderón, presented his resignation to the position that will take effect this Monday, May 5.
Calderón Aguilera sent a letter to the head of government of Mexico City, Clara Brugada, notifying him of his decision with irrevocable character and of its own will.

“Through the present, I allow myself to express that with this date it is my free will of all physical or moral coercion, renounce the position of general director of the collective transport system, with employee number 38920, number of square 8000043, level 475 and 70100 position code.
“Likewise, I know that I have received the payment of each and every one of the corresponding perceptions for my services provided until the day of the date and I have enjoyed each and every one of the rights and benefits that corresponded to me, in accordance with the provisions of articles 123, section b), section XIV of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, as well as 46, fraction I of the Federal Law of Workers to: ARTICLE 123 Constitutional, not reserving any action or right to exercise against the public administration of Mexico City, or the Head of Government of Mexico City.
“I have nothing left to thank all your attention, being at your orders,” concludes the letter.
Who is Guillermo Calderón Aguilera?
Between 2018 and 2021 he served as general director of the Electric Transport Service of Mexico Citywhere it promoted the resurgence of the company and electromobility in public transport.
