The “extraterritorial” film, a German action thriller released in Netflix on April 30, 2025, has quickly captured the attention of the Argentine public. In less than 48 hours since its launch, it was established as the most watched production on the platform in the country.
The plot follow Sara Wulf, played by Jeanne Goursaud, an elite ex -soldier whose little son, Josh, disappears without a trace while she manages a work visa in the US consulate. Sara embarks on a desperate search within the Consulate facilities, where she faces the disbelief of those around her, since no one seems to remember having seen her son enter.
As the investigation is deepened, it becomes clear that this disappearance is part of a dark conspiracy that transcends the limits of the diplomatic institution. Without having jurisdiction, the German authorities are helpless to act within the consulate, leaving Sara alone and over time against her to rescue her son. During his search, he meets Irina, an enigmatic woman who works at the Consulate and becoming her ally.
