This summer, the dragons of DreamWorks surf the skies again, but it will not be in a new installment of the animated saga, but in the expected reset in real action of ‘how to train your dragon’, which He arrives at theaters on June 12thus marking the first remake of a Dreamworks Animation movie.
The film comes from the hand of one of the directors of the original animated classic, Dean Deblois, who runs a real action hybrid and computer -generated animation that seems to stay very faithful to his referent. The advances we have seen so far indicate it, and now we have a new one that, precisely, almost flat to plane two of the most memorable scenes of the 2010 film.
Although there is no lack of eyes for Nico Parker as Astrid or Gerard Butler as a stoic (character that takes up in flesh and blood after putting voice in the original film), as well as flashes of his spectacular battles and action scenes, the duo formed by Hippo and Dantao assumes almost all the prominence of this new advance with two sequences that bring us very good memories: The beginning of the friendship between Hippo and Dantao and its first flight.
Although we had already seen moments of both sequences in the previous promotional videos, here we have a look extended to the two scenes. In the first, Hipo begins his approach to Dantao testing several methods. The dragon, feline in his movements and reluctant at first, ends up giving in and demonstrating that his character is much more affable than it seems. The time of the scene is not lacking in which Dantao uses a branch to draw on the sandemulating his new best friend. Everything to culminate in the most recognizable plane of the saga, Dentao demonstrating his confidence supporting his head in Hipo’s hand.
-In the second scene, the most vertiginous action takes over the film, which Reimagina The first flight of the young Vikingo on the back of his dragon, increasing the scale, speed and power.
An immersive experience
There is nothing more to see this new trailer to realize that Deblois did not want to change the story too much, but be careful, as he told us in an interview in first a few months ago in London, the new ‘how to train your dragon’ will not be a flat remake of plane, but An expansion designed to create an immersive experience:
“Our intention is to follow the measures of the same story, but it is definitely not a flat to flat remake. With what we have added we try to expand the characters, the relationships, and also to enhance the astonishment and immersive quality. In some cases, give the audience more than some moments that were suggested in the animated film, entering a little more in those scenes. And In other cases, we try to expand mythology a bit“.
We will check it June 12when ‘how to train your dragon’ land exclusively in cinemas.
