One of these groups of survivors lives on a small island connected to the continent on a single highly defended road. When one of the group members leaves the island to enter the dark heart of the continent, discover secrets, wonders and horrors that have mutated not only those infected, but also other survivors.
The second installment is already shot and will premiere in cinemas in January 2026 under the title of 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Nia Dacosta (“Candyman”) has been in charge of carrying it out.
How could it be otherwise the film will have a spectacular cast formed, among others by Jack O’Connell, Jodie Eat, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes.
