Valencia, 3 May. (Europa Press) –
National Police agents have arrested four people-a woman and three men, between 32 and 45 years old-as alleged perpetrators of extortion crimes and belonging to the criminal group, after allegedly threatening to death to a man if he did not pay several amounts of money. In total, they managed to get a benefit of 3,960 euros.
The investigations began at the beginning of March by the Judicial Group of the National Police District of Madrid-Latin, after the agents have been aware that a man had been extorted, after hiring the services of a sex worker, as indicated by Headquarters in a statement.
Apparently, the man would have received a call from a male who said he was a security personnel of the supposed brothel, which threatened him with death if he did not pay the payment of 3,960 euros. After the first inquiries, the agents identified as alleged responsible for the events to two men, who resided in the Valencian municipality of Torrent, so the Judicial Group of the National Police Police Station this town took over the continuation of the investigations.
After numerous efforts, the researchers identified and arrested four people related to extortion, which had differentiated roles. Specifically, one would have been in charge of making the threats and another to receive the amount requested in a bank account, extracting the money from one cashier to subsequently give it to another of those arrested.
Likewise, it was found how the victim made two more fertilizers through an immediate payment platform. The agents found out that the fate of the money was a bank account whose holder is the now arrested and partner of another of those in charge.
The detainees, three of them with numerous police records, were released after being heard in a statement, but not before being warned of the obligation to appear before the judicial authority when they were required for it.
