Jerusalem, May 6 (EFE) .- The prime minister of Israel, Benjamín Netanyahu, and its head of Defense, Israel Katz, defended the attacks against the Saná Airport (Yemen) and launched a veiled threat to Iran: “You are directly responsible for each attack,” says the minister in a vide-communicated video broadcast by the authorities.
“Whoever damages us, we will damage him seven times more,” says Katz in the images, recorded during the monitoring of the attacks in the Kirya of Tel Aviv, Defense Headquarters.
“This is also a warning message to the ‘Iranian octopus head’: ‘You are direct Hutis or Hamas himself threatens Israel.
Next to him, Netanyahu also blamed the Islamic Republic of the acts of the Hutíes, which on Sunday fired a missile against the Ben Gurion International Airport, on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, which managed to impact their immediately.
“The decision when to respond, how to respond and against what objectives to respond is a criterion that we apply every time. And this also concerns the patron of the hutis: Iran, without whose constant approval and support, the hutis could not have carried out the criminal attack with missiles against us,” added the Israeli president.
Netanyahu also defended that his response against the Hutis, as he had announced, was not a single attack, but several, as Israel attacked the port of Al Hudeida last night and, today, the airport and other positions close to healthy.
In this sense, the president Israeli prime minister did not specify whether these “attacks” have concluded or could occur more.
By 14.33 local time (11.33 GMT), the Arabic spokesman for the Army of Israel, Avichay Adraee, spread a statement in which he urged the evacuation of the airport and its immediately, and assured that whoever remained there was exposed to danger, without giving more details.
Just an hour later, Israeli aviation attacked the airport and the rest of the positions in Yemen. Large columns of smoke rose from the airfield and other points in the capital of the country, as Efe could see.
This is the second attack in 24 hours that Israel launches on Yemen, both in response to the missile fired by the hutis against Ben Gurion airport.
On Monday, the Israeli army, next to American aviation, launched an attack on the Yemeni port of Al Hudeida that killed four people and wounded at least another 39, directed against a cement factory. EFE
