A 60-year-old man has died on Monday after suffering a traffic accident at kilometer 49 of the A-42, as he passed through the municipality of Villaluenga de la Sagra, in the direction of Toledo.
The event took place at 12:25, as reported by the 1-1-2 emergency service of Castilla-La Mancha. The victim was traveling as the only occupant of a van that has left the road and has violently collided with the chitamiedos, which has caused his death in the accident. Despite the rapid intervention of health services, displaced to the place with a mobile UVI, nothing has been done to save his life.
As a result of the incident, the A-42 highway has been cut at that point, so an alternative step has been established through the change of direction enabled in the same area of the accident, which is allowing to gradually recover the circulation.
Civil Guard has confirmed the partial reopening of the A-42. Vehicles can circulate on the left lane, in the direction of Toledo.
The operation participated in the Civil Guard of Traffic and the mobile UVI that has moved to the scene.
