On April 3, Nilda Flores and Alberto Enrique Pereyra, affectionately known as “Russian,” celebrated their gold weddings in Gaiman.
His story began with a civil marriage officiated by the peace judge John Ronald Foulkes, with Abelino Flores and Fausto Genaro Pereyra as witnesses. The honeymoon took them to Buenos Aires, and the religious ceremony was held on January 14, 1979, chaired by the priest Renzo Baldo, with Mirta Torres and Fausto Pereyra as godparents.
Nilda and Alberto are parents of four children: Mariela Elizabeth, Miriam Liliana, Cristian Alberto and the late Diego Sebastián. Mariela and Miriam attended their studies at Camwy, while Cristian ended at 761 school. His legacy continues with his eight grandchildren, who are in various educational stages, standing out in social communication and other areas.
Nilda worked for 16 years at the Estero stocking factory and, now retired, collaborates with Cáritas and Gaiman’s parish. For his part, the Russian was an outstanding footballer at the Gaiman Fútbol Club and worked at the Soriano factory for 41 years before retirement.
The family, always grateful to the institution that united them, celebrates this milestone with love and admiration. From here, warm congratulations are sent to Nilda and Alberto in their gold weddings.
