At the end of 2024, the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) formalized the 2025 school calendarsestablishing the Dates on which winter holidays will be carried out.
As usual, in most Chile’s educational establishments, students will have two weeks of breakperiod in which they can rest before resuming the classes for the second semester.

But attention: not everyone will have the same calendar. There are some regions of the country where students will enjoy more free time, extending their recess to three weekswhich represents almost exception within the national calendar.

These are the regions that will have 3 weeks of winter vacation in Chile
As defined by authority, There will be two areas that will have three weeks offcounting to:
- Aysén Region: July 7 to 25
- Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region: June 30 to July 18

Not to mention the territories already listed, the calendar indicates the following rest dates in the rest of Chile:
- Arica and Parinacota Region: July 7 to 18.
- Tarapacá region: July 7 to 18.
- Antofagasta region: June 23 to July 4.
- Atacama region: June 23 to July 4.
- Coquimbo Region: June 23 to July 4.
- Valparaíso Region: June 23 to July 4.
- Metropolitan Region: June 23 to July 4.
- O’Higgins region: June 23 to July 4.
- Maule Region: June 23 to July 4.
- Ñuble region: June 23 to July 4.
- Biobío Region: June 23 to July 4.
- Araucanía Region: June 23 to July 4.
- Los Ríos Region: June 23 to July 4.
- Los Lagos Region: June 23 to July 4.
