during the great Bolivarian celebration of immunizations 2025, a health operation was deployed in the El Limón sector of the Caracas-La Guaira road, for the benefit of more than 1,200 inhabitants of three surrounding communities. The day focused on the care of children, adolescents, young adults and the elderly, to guarantee access to vaccines.
The national Director of Immunizations, Nury Valderrama, reported that during the day 500 children under 5 years of age were attended, they were also administered vaccines such as the pentavalent, oral polio, inactive polio, SRP (measles, rubella and clumpiness), yellow fever, diphtheria toxoid and pneumococcus to adult inhabitants and older adults.
The director highlighted the deployment of nursing staff and vaccinators in this prioritized community, “we are present in El Limón with a large army of health professionals, addressing three emblematic communities with their three educational institutions,” said Valderrama.
This operation reflects the commitment of the Bolivarian government with preventive health and strengthening the national immunization scheme, to ensure the protection of the Venezuelan population against various diseases.
