  4. It has an educational mode used by schools worldwide: Minecraft: Education Edition is a version of the game that has been adapted for classroom learning. From mathematics to history, teachers use Minecraft’s environment to teach in an immersively and fun way. Even NASA has used it to teach about exploration.
  5. Its creator sold the game and disappeared from the map: Markus Persson, better known as “Notch,” sold Mojang (the company behind Minecraft) to Microsoft in 2014 for 2.5 billion dollars. Since then, it has remained away from the world from video game and has preferred a more reserved life.

Minecraft is still in and constantly evolves. Among films, collaborations with great brands such as McDonald’s and new ways of playing, the block universe continues to add entire generations of players who, by day, reinvent it in their own way.
