An alleged Ukrainian attack with drones in Russian territory was recorded at dawn on Tuesday (06.05.2025), which were mainly directed to Moscow and affected the operations of a dozen airports, Russian authorities reported.
The attack occurred days before the commemorations in Moscow of the end of World War II, with a military parade in the presence of President Vladimir Putin and about twenty foreign leaders.
The mayor of Moscow, Serguéi Sobianin, said that 19 drones were intercepted by the anti -aircraft defense when they were heading to the capital.
He said that the rubble fell on a large avenue south of Moscow and that initially victims were registered.
However, Russian media disseminated images of the cracked window of a supermarket and the blackened facade of a residential building.
Four airports of the capital- Sheremétievo, Domodédovo, Vnúkovo and Zhukovsk- imposed temporary restrictions at night and some closed all its tracks, according to the Russian Civil Aviation Agency, Rosaviatsia.
Victims are not reported
The operation of other Russian airports was interrupted, in particular those of large cities about Volga such as Ninzhi Novgorod, Samara or Volgograd.
The governors of the southern regions of Vorónezh and Penza reported, respectively, that 18 and 10 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over their territories without leaving victims.
In the border region of Kursk, a Ukrainian attack left two injured teenagers and caused blackouts, according to Governor Alexander Jinstein.
On the Ukrainian side, a Russian bombing with drones left a dead in the Odesa region, Governor Oleg Kiper said.
Russia announced a high fire fire from May 8 to 10 due to the commemorations of victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
Ukraine has not revealed whether the truce announced by Putin will comply with.
