ROMER ÁNGEL BADELL / OFFICIAL PRESS INSAMONAGAS / MPPS. The “Bolivarian celebration of immunization 2025” will start this Sunday, April 27, with a total of 209 control points, in the Monagas state, promoted by the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) of the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), thanks to the care of health personnel assigned to the entity’s governorate, dedicated to the child population of 2 months until 10 years.
This activity is in charge of the Ministry of Social Development, with the duration from April 27 to May 4, the 19 Community Integral Health Areas (ASIC), will apply pentavalent, injectable and oral polio, measles, rubella, diphther’s tetannic toxoid, and yellow fever. Likewise, educational sessions will be being carried out to publicize the importance of early vaccination to increase the capacity of the immune system.
In this regard, the Single Health Authority, Yerika Alzolay, stressed that, “the intention is to apply the entire scheme to the population that attends each vaccination center. We are prepared to serve each child, girl, adult and pregnant, attending for free and quality to the entire community.”
For its part, the PAI Regional Coordinator, Lcda. Nairobi Ricarde, reiterated that the president of the Nation, Nicolás Maduro continues to attend to the entire population in an action articulated with the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez Viña, and the governor of the State Monagas, Ernesto Luna, guarantee the protection for the seedbed of the homeland.
